Trinity Fellowship Pastors College

Equipping the next generation of African pastors for gospel-centered ministry within the context of the local church.

Equipped by the local church to serve the local church.

Our program is informed by our ecclesiology from beginning to end. Trinity Fellowship Church in Addis Ababa serves as both the context for our pastoral training and a working model for what the students are learning inside the classroom. The elder team at Trinity Fellowship Church pastors students throughout their training so that, students not only grow in their theological understanding but also pursue pastoral qualifications.

“Watch your life and your doctrine closely” (1 Timothy 4:16)

These dual priorities—life and doctrine—inform every facet of the Trinity Fellowship Pastors College. We aim to guide students through the equipping process and prepare them for pastoral ministry, both inside and outside the classroom.

Our approach to pastoral training is holistic because we believe that effective ministry requires a combination of sound theological convictions and a heart shaped by those convictions. Our goal is to train men to build their lives, families, and churches on the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe that this naturally produces pastors who embody the qualifications for pastoral ministry.

Accademics

At Trinity Fellowship Pastors College, our mission is to train pastors. This means that our education is not merely theological in the abstract, but rather practical training that equips pastors to apply the truth of God’s Word to the lives of God’s people. We emphasize “theological ministry,” where methodology is informed and shaped by theological conviction.

Our program consists of 42 modular-style courses completed over 12 months, covering a range of biblical, theological, and pastoral studies. Biblical Greek is also taught throughout the year. Each course runs Tuesday through Friday for 25 hours of instruction.
